On Saturday the 14th of November, over 2000 people attended Levenmouth Together’s socially distant market on Leven’s South Street/ Viewforth car park despite the rain. Locals and visitors alike, browsed the 35 stalls selling crafts, art items, cosmetics, homewares and speciality food and drink. Feedback received shows that visitors felt safe and that it was a well organised market with lots of unique gift ideas. Based on a survey of local businesses coffee shops and gift shops reported being busier than usual.
Staff and volunteers enjoyed the market and the lovely community atmosphere within a safely managed setting. The next market will be held on Saturday 12th December again at the South St/ Viewforth car park, situtated between Leven High Street and The Promenade from 10AM until 3PM.
