BRAG to Host First Willow Weaving Session of 2026: Harlequin Trees

.page-id-7449

BRAG is delighted to announce the first Willow Weaving workshop of the year, taking place on Tuesday 24th February in our Community Garden. The session will run from 10:00am to 12:30pm and will once again be led by the talented Katy Bremer Basketry, who returns following the success of last year’s programme.

This month’s workshop will focus on crafting harlequin trees—a hugely popular activity in 2025. Participants previously enjoyed learning traditional weaving techniques while creating beautiful, living structures to take home for their own gardens. This year’s session promises to offer the same rewarding experience, combining hands‑on creativity with a welcoming, community atmosphere.

The event is free to attend, but spaces are limited. To help us plan materials and ensure everyone has a place, we kindly ask attendees to register in advance by emailing [email protected].

We are excited to be offering further Willow Weaving sessions throughout the year. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page or the What’s on section of our website for upcoming dates and details.
