It’s a great way to feel happier and improve your mental health. So let’s get moving, Fife! πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί

Looking for ways to add more movement to your day? You don’t need a fancy gym membership or hours to spare. “Move for your mood” is all about weaving movement into your daily routine and seeing how it makes you feel. Every little bit counts, whether it’s stretching while you wait for your tea to steep or cleaning the house. Here are some simple, fun ideas to get you started:

  • Go for a walk: Take a stroll around the block or explore a new trail.
  • Make the bed: A quick way to tidy up and get moving.
  • Go for a bike ride: A great way to explore your neighborhood.
  • Do the hoovering: Turn cleaning into a workout!
  • Have a walking meeting: Discuss work while you walk.
  • Play with your pet: Fetch, tug-of-war, or a simple run around the garden.
  • Do the dusting: A chance to stretch and reach those high spots.
  • 30-second dance party: Crank up your favorite song and dance like no one’s watching.
  • Scavenger hunt: Fun for all ages, indoors or outdoors.
  • Play hide and seek: A classic game that gets everyone moving.
  • Play games in the garden: Frisbee, catch, or even a mini obstacle course.
  • Yoga: Perfect for stretching and relaxation.
  • 2-minute beach clean: Do good for the environment and get some fresh air.
  • Go outside: Fresh air and nature are great mood boosters.
  • Walk while on the phone: Take your calls on the go.
  • Do some gardening: Digging, planting, and weeding are all great for movement.
  • Stand up and stretch: A quick stretch can do wonders.
  • Take the stairs: Skip the elevator and give your legs a workout.
  • Go swimming: A full-body workout that’s easy on the joints.

Find what works for you and have fun with it! Remember, every little bit helps when it comes to moving for your mood. πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸŒˆ
