Renowned sculptor David Mach opens exciting new venture in Levenmouth!

David Mach is one of the UK’s most successful and respected artists, known for his dynamic and imaginative large-scale collages, sculptures and installations using diverse media, including coat hangers, matches, magazines and many other found materials. The Scotsman describes his work as ‘big on gesture and big in proportion, it demands your attention and gets it.’

On 2nd April, David will turn his artistic hand to the cutting of the ribbon to officially open the Together Levenmouth Hub in Leven High St. There will also be face painting, free balloons and the first one hundred customers through the door will get a shot of the lottery ball machine with the chance to win a free game of golf or escape room in the hub.

The Hub will house two Fife-themed crazy golf courses ‘Family Fun’ & ‘The Challenge’ as well as two escape rooms ‘It’s a Steal’ and ‘Level 99’. To complete the experience, you will be able to get a bite to eat, hot and cold drinks and buy a souvenir in the gift shop! There is also a party room available to hire for that special occasion.

Together Levenmouth (TL) which is a project of Brag Enterprises, were tasked with helping to regenerate the area. As a fully registered charity, TL will be putting profits from this project as well as the Community Lottery and monthly Artisan Markets, directly back into the community.

Susan Oak, the Together Levenmouth Project Manager said “We are really passionate about bringing tourism into the area and creating a circular economy. We have used local suppliers and contractors where possible as is our ethos. Levenmouth has beautiful beaches, great golf courses and friendly people but the research we did showed that young people felt there were no prospects here for them. Along with some other amazing local initiatives, we will address that and make change”

The Hub has already created ten new full-time jobs and provided full training including barista, health & safety, customer service and food hygiene. Susan Oak added: “We have an incredible, friendly, and fun team that will cater to your every need (within reason!) “

Brag Enterprises MD, Brian Robertson-Fern added “We are a social enterprise that has been helping people and communities thrive for the last 30 years. We are excited to expand on the work we have already done in the Levenmouth area and are committed to driving change.”

Local resident Zander Donaldson thinks the Hub will really put Levenmouth on the map “I’ve never seen escape rooms or golf courses like this before! It’s so different, really unique! Everyone will want to come and have a go. Great thing to do with your mates, your work colleagues for team building, kids parties or just as part of a day out at the beach.”

The Hub will be open 7 days a week and until 10pm Wed-Sun. You can find more details by searching Together Levenmouth on Facebook and you can BOOK NOW on the website: www.TogetherLevenmouth.co.uk

The hub is a two-minute walk from several free car parks and the team are looking forward to welcoming locals and visitors to Levenmouth’s newest attraction.
