BRAG’s community spirit was on full display this week as members of the organisation’s weekly Crochet Club came together to celebrate a very special moment for one of the team.
Our valued receptionist, Leah, is preparing to welcome her first child and will soon begin her maternity leave. Over recent months, the dedicated participants of the Crochet Club have been busy behind the scenes, crafting an array of beautiful handmade items to mark the occasion.
This morning, the group surprised Leah with a collection of lovingly made baby gifts, including cardigans, hats, gloves in various sizes, and an exquisite, crocheted blanket. Each item showcased the skill, care, and creativity of the club’s members.
Leah was delighted by the thoughtful gesture and expressed her gratitude to everyone involved.
This heartwarming moment is yet another example of the strong community bonds fostered here at BRAG and the kindness and generosity shown by those who participate in the services and activities we provide.
The Crochet Club meets every Friday at 10:30am, and new members are always welcome, regardless of experience or ability.
