Brag has several welcoming, affordable spaces available to rent across our three sites.
Over the years BRAG has converted the buildings it owns into community enterprise space where they trade as Community Enterprise Centres. These centres are in Crosshill and Levenmouth (Methil) and provide affordable enterprise space, This space is a mixture of BRAG office space for service delivery as well as lettable business space with easy in and easy out terms where BRAG now offer good quality affordable business and community space. This offer has proven to be popular and is particularly attractive to start ups and SME’s. The centres are well used and routinely run at 100% capacity creating many local jobs or providing space to community groups.
Although aimed at start-ups the space has many local businesses on site with some that have been on the site for over 30 years now. People talk of a real community feel to the space and we take pride in the fact that are truly delivering on the promise of community wealth building.
The surplus income from our business space is then used to complement our core employability funding from local and national government sources alongside some independent charitable trusts and commercial contracts that we have support from. Employability and training are the bedrock of what BRAG offer, and our reputation means we have had particular growth in this area of the organisation.
