The Social Enterprise Awards Scotland shortlist for 2026 has been unveiled, following a record-breaking year which saw the highest number of entries in the Awards’ 16-year history.
BRAG is thrilled to announce that we have been nominated this year for the Education, Training and Jobs award – sponsored by Glasgow City Council.
Brag Enterprises was founded in 1988 to address the economic and social consequences due to the local pit closures that led to a high level of unemployment within the Benarty area. In 2017 we expanded into the Levenmouth area and currently have dedicated Employability Coaches that cover the whole of Fife.
Our MD, Brian Robertson-Fern said, ‘I’m delighted that we are being recognised for our achievements and impact by being included as a finalist for these prestigious awards.’
The Social Enterprise Awards Scotland are organised by Social Enterprise Scotland; an independent, membership-led organisation, which has united and represented social enterprises for more than 20 years.

There are more than 6,000 social enterprises in Scotland, generating more than £2.3 billion for Scotland’s economy, and supporting more than 88,000 jobs, reflecting the sectors continued impact, diversity and resilience.
The awards are due to take place in Glasgow on October 28th, and we will regularly update our website and social media in the lead up to the awards, and we will of course update you following the awards ceremony.
